May 2016 Real Estate Statistics

The May 2016 Real Estate Statistics show a continuation of the busy Spring Denver real estate market. The number of sold homes, and new listings is higher than it has been all year. The median sales price also continues to rise and is now $355,000. Compare that to last year’s May median sales price of $321,500. Average 30 year fixed-rate mortgage rates dropped slightly to 3.60% but are expected to rise throughout 2016.  These May 2016 real estate statistics confirm yet another busy spring real estate market here in Denver. It’s still a strong seller’s market, and we expect to see a continuation of that in the coming months.
