A Look at April 2015 Real Estate Statistics in Denver

In April the Denver metro real estate market reached new heights. The average sale price for properties in the city and county of Denver rose above $400,000 for the first time ever. The April 2015 Real Estate Statistics for the entire Denver Metro area reflects that increase across the board. Mortgage rates dropped slightly over March giving buyers lucky enough to get under contract great rates on new loans. April 2015 shows a rise in the number of listings and homes sold, but a drop in the average days listings stay on the market. Demand for residential single family homes and condos in the Denver Metro area continues to be high, and it is not unusual for buyers to include appraisal contingencies and inspection waivers to make their offers more attractive to sellers.
