April 2016 Real Estate Statistics

The April 2016 Real Estate Statistics show that we are in the thick of a steady 2016 Spring Denver real estate market. Although the median sales price and the price per square foot have changed only slightly, the number of sold homes and new listings show more inventory than we had in March. The median sales price also continues to rise and is now $346,975. Compare that to last year’s April median sales price of $329,000. Average 30 year fixed-rate mortgage rates dropped slightly to 3.61% but are expected to rise throughout 2016.  These April 2016 real estate statistics show yet another busy spring real estate market here in Denver.
